732 Days is a heart-wrenching account of the lives of Shohei, Naoki and Yuuki, three siblings who lost both parents and their grandfather in the Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami disaster.
Shohei, a university student, is determined to become the legal guardian of his younger brother and sister, and all three begin to rebuild their lives and try to regain a sense of normality amidst deep family tragedy. They experience big events such as entrance exams and job interviews, and support each other emotionally in place of their parents, over a period of 732 days following the tsunami that swept away their former lives.
