One day, Haruko, who lives with her mother, receives a welfare-dependent inquiry letter about her father. Since her parents’ divorce 25 years ago, she hasn't heard anything about him. Out of her whole family, he was only kind to Haruko. She decides to meet him. As a metal worker, her father’s favorite saying was, "Live life according to a plan."  Haruko wonders whether she should support her father after 25 years or heed the words of her family.
