Since then, 8-year-old Saaya has lived with her grandmother and doesn’t feel like she fits in her own family. While Saaya’s mother can’t bring Saaya to live with her, she sometimes comes to visit with Saaya’s half-brother, Kouki. Saaya loves her brother, but she’s also a little jealous of him because he gets to live with both of his parents. Then, one day, on her way home from school, Saaya buys an old wooden box from a man selling toys. There’s something magical about the seemingly ordinary box.
