Naoto Odajima, a young craftsman who builds jazz guitars using Hokkaido wood, mastered his guitar-making skills in the US. He chose one of the coldest places in Hokkaido to build his workshop.

Odajima was drawn to wood from Hokkaido trees, especially to trees that were given little value and considered poor quality. This program captures this young man’s work ethic and lifestyle, which can be appreciated by people worldwide, as well as illuminating the appeals of Hokkaido, his home.
