A year ago, Yohei witnessed his father’s sudden death. Yohei, who still can’t get over his loss, leaves his pregnant wife at home to attend the first anniversary ceremony of his father’s passing. His mother acts as if his father will still come home at any moment, talking to him at the family’s Buddhist alter. Meanwhile, his sisters are dealing with the loss in their own way. Still, Yohei can’t come to terms with what happened a year ago. Then, strange things start happening to him. How do we come to terms with the death of someone precious? This is the story of a family that keeps searching to fill the void left by their loved one.
